Located 20 minutes from Abidjan, the former governor's garden, was transformed in 1920 into a garden of testing. In colonial times, it was here that cocoa, coffee, palm and, later, rubber trees were successfully tested. Gradually plants from all over the world were added. The 56 hectares are home to more than 300 plant species. Even if the place no longer has its superb old, it remains a peaceful picnic that disconnects with the excitement of Abidjan.
