The Dar Batha Museum is located in the former Royal Palace of Fez in Morocco. This palace was commissioned by Sultan Alouite Hassan I in the 19th century. 


This museum, which dates back to 1916, showcases traditional art and houses nearly 6,000 collections, mainly composed of carved wood, embroidery, zellige, wrought iron, coin jewellery, carpets, etc. 


One of the main attractions of the museum is its collection of ceramics and pottery, the most beautiful in the Morocco. Indeed, for more than 1000 years, the city of Fez has been specialized in ceramics and famous for its blue color, called "Fez blue"!
