Located on the hills of the city of Kampala, capital of Uganda, the tombs of the kings of Buganda in Kasubi on a vast 30-hectare plot.
They are nestled in a circular building in the centre of the grounds on the top of the hill. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a true spiritual hub for the people of the region.
This former palace, built in 1882, was transformed into a royal cemetery in 1884, it also highlights the architecture in organic materials.
