The Aman Museum, also referred to as the Marrakech Water Museum or the Mohammed VI Museum for the Civilization of Water, opened in May 2017. Designed by architect Rachid Sqalli Houssaini, it covers 2235 m², offering a permanent exhibition dedicated to Moroccan hydraulic techniques. With a construction budget of 163 million dirhams, its architecture combines modern design and traditional elements. The museum offers an immersive experience exploring the history of irrigation, water management and environmental challenges. Visitors will also appreciate its themed gardens and modernized museography. The museum is accessible to families and offers information in several languages.
