The Jardin Majorelle, created in 1922 by Jacques Majorelle, covers 9,000 m² in Marrakech. This botanical garden harmoniously combines art, Art Deco architecture and botany. The brightly colored buildings reflect the iconic Majorelle blue, a brilliant cobalt. The Villa Oasis, the artist's former home, is an integral part of this unique setting. The garden features elaborate landscaping, offering striking perspectives between criss-crossing paths. The botanical collection features a wide variety of cacti and succulents, as well as rare exotic flora. Purchased in 1980 by Yves Saint Laurent, it now boasts a Berber museum, enriching the cultural experience. To avoid queues, online booking is recommended. A visit of around an hour is all it takes to appreciate this haven of peace. For a tranquil atmosphere, we recommend opening in the morning. A café and souvenir store are available on site.
