The Musée Berbère, inaugurated in 2011 in the former workshop of Jacques Majorelle, presents over 600 Berber objects collected by Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent. This institution offers an immersive experience through four thematic spaces, including traditional costumes, jewelry and tools. At the entrance, an introduction to Berber history is enhanced by a map of the tribes. The audiovisual element enhances understanding of the exhibits, while the jewelry room recreates an illusion of a starry sky. Integrated into the famous Jardin Majorelle, this museum stands out for the contrast between the bright blue of its structures and the surrounding greenery. For the best possible visit, we recommend reserving tickets in advance and coming in the morning to avoid the crowds. A combined ticket option gives access to the garden, the Berber Museum and the YSL Museum. A café at the exit serves local dishes to prolong the experience.
