Nothing could adequately prepare you for the experience of the African Heritage House; certainly not the red-framed door in the middle of nowhere, leading to a natural path and beyond into the Athi Plains overlooking Nairobi National Park. Even though its earthy facade and magnificent shapes with artistic arches and curves might catch your eye, it still won't give you a hint about the hidden treasures within.
