Dominated at the entrance of Bouregreg to starboard when you arrive by the ocean by boat. The Kasbah Oudayas, is a former fortified military camp. Over the centuries, it has worn several names that have each reflected a specific history and period of the country's history.
The street Jemâa crosses all Kasbah and you will discover the oldest mosque of Rabat which dates from the twelfth century, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea from the semaphore platform.
At the entrance to the platform, there is also an interesting carpet cooperative to visit. It is a realization workshop where you can observe the work of the craftsmen. The atmosphere in the Kasbah Oudayas is very special. It is good to walk there sheltered from the sounds of Rabat and its medina. Blue and white are relaxing colors.
