Located on 5,000 m², the National Museum of Cameroon is housed in the former palace of the first President of the Republic Ahmadou Ahidjo.
It has 30 rooms where costumes, traditional instruments, artifacts, objects of magic and belief are displayed, as well as photo archives retracing the country's history.
The saxophone of Manu Dibango, a Cameroonian musician and icon of African and international music, is also on display in the museum.
