Atelier de poterie à grand-bassam
Desirée, Anezy and Assana are the winners of the DUST training, a training that allows them to develop solidarity tours to promote their region.
Today, they have designed an alternative City Tour that will make you discover Grand-Bassam and its inhabitants with a fresh look, notably through a mini tour and a meeting with craftsmen who make Grand-Bassam special.
In this small town not far from Abidjan, you will quickly be seduced by the astonishing diversity of the heritage, the refinement of its inhabitants, both on the general appearance of their environment and their habitat and on the quality of their welcome. Everywhere, you will hear: "Akwaba, be welcome".
Our guides hope that this tour will open the doors of this charming and unique city to you.
Program of the Activity :
- City Tour of Grand-Bassam (on foot). Duration: 1/2 hour
- Meeting with the artisans of the ceramic center
- Pottery class with an artisan-teacher. Duration: 2 hours.

TRAIN & TRAVEL est une association Franco-Ivoirienne de tourisme local qui donne l’occasion aux communautés et surtout aux femmes de participer a des formations qui les engage dans le tourisme communautaire et solidaire. C’est un alternatif pour elles de gagner des revenus. La fondatrice de TRAIN & TRAVEL, Bénédicte, a créé une niche en tant que développeur de capacités pour que les communautés puissent proposer des solutions innovantes, des idées qui génèrent des revenus grâce au tourisme et qui les aident à utiliser leurs dotations qui sont autrement inutilisées.En 2017, après avoir reçu le Prix Initiative Jeunes de la ville de Mérignac (France) pour le projet Formez & Voyagez, Bénédicte Joan décide de créer l’association » Train & Travel « . A travers ces nombreux voyages, elle rencontre ces deux associées au Niger et en Côte d’Ivoire. De ce collectif, commencera à naître une communauté de volontaires « Train & Travel » pour ainsi renforcer les liens Nord-Sud sur la promotion du Tourisme local.
