Overview:
There is a distinct beauty and rhythm that is native to the classic Tanzania Safari. When you follow the arc of stories told by explorers long gone you may start in the shadow of one of Africa’s highest mountains. But soon enough the wilderness will call you from the bustle of Arusha and out of the foothills of Mount Meru. You will be drawn North, towards Manyara then proceed to Serengeti a home for Big Cats, followed by Ngorongoro Crater where the Big 5 roam before ending at Tarangire famous for large herd of African Elephant and gigantic baobab trees. This program is ideally for families as it covers the best of Tanzania and as your family completes this journey in Tarangire, you will have time to reminisce and a final moment to feel truly close to the extraordinary inhabitants of Africa.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced drivers/guides who will escort you to Arusha Town and your reserved hotel. Arusha is situated below Mt Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley. The city is close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mt Kilimanjaro, and its national park on Mt Meru.

Day 2: Arusha City – Lake Manyara National Park - Karatu
After an early breakfast, our driver/guide will pick you up and drive you to Lake Manyara for game viewing. Situated between the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara, Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Lake Manyara Regions. With more than 350 bird species observed on the Lake, this stunning destination is a must-see. After having a swell time in Lake Manyara National Park, you will proceed to your accommodation in Karatu

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
We make the most of the day by departing early in the morning after breakfast with your lunch and head off to the Serengeti National Park on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in the Serengeti. It offers an exotic game-viewing experience and great herds of lions, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle can be spotted. Later during the day, you will proceed to your accommodation inside the national park.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you proceed to the Serengeti National Park on a game drive safari. With a vast open savannah that always delivers superb game-viewing experiences, the Serengeti National Park is best known to host the Greatest Show on Earth where over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra, and other grazing animals cross the plains in search of fresh grass. After spending a memorable time in the Serengeti National Park, you will head to your accommodation inside the national park.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast, you depart with lunch heading for a final morning game viewing in Serengeti. Later, the adventure will continue when we travel up to Ngorongoro, another African icon.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Tarangire National Park
Our driver guide will pick you up and you’ll proceed with a game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater after a breakfast. The largest unfolded and unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro crown is a deep volcanic crater that is diverse and unique. Lions, black rhinoceros, blue wildebeest, Grant’s zebras, and many more species can be spotted here. After feeding your eyes with the magnificence Ngorongoro has to offer, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park for overnight inside the park

Day 7: Tarangire National Park - Kilimanjaro International Airport
After a tasty breakfast, our driver guide will pick you at your hotel together with your lunch and drive you to Tarangire for game viewing. The park is well known for large number of elephants that congregate here, as do many wildebeest and zebras. There are also significant population of impala, giraffes, eland and buffalo. Thompson’s, gazelle, Coke’s hartebeest, bohor reedbuck and both greater and lesser kudu are found here. Lions are common throughout Tarangire, as are leopard. Later during the day, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight
