We invite you to a thrilling Gorilla trekking safari and climbing adventure for Rwenzori Mountains. You will trek the mountain Gorillas in the jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. There are currently less than 1200 mountain gorillas left in the world and almost half of the population resides in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. Gorilla trekking is one of the top activities while on a safari. Did you know that Uganda has the highest percentage of Gorillas in the world?

You will also visit to Batwa Cultural village which is an Indigenous group of people that has lived in the forest for 500,000 years; enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

After Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park is the largest biotic area in Africa. It is a habitat for a variety of flora and fauna, hippo, tree-climbing lions, elephants, wildebeest, swamp antelope, Uganda-kobs, topis, waterbucks, bushbucks, reedbucks, duiker, mongoose, and forest hog.

You will climb Rwenzori Mountains. Rwenzori Mountains are home to two of the highest peaks in Africa. The Rwenzori Mountains run north to south for about 75 to 80 miles (120 to 130 km) in between two lakes, Lake Albert and Lake Edward. and have a breadth of around 30 to 40 miles (50 to 65 km).

· Package includes – Ground transportation (enough well-spaced transportation), Infrared thermometers, masks, and sanitizers will be available, full board accommodation (bed, breakfast, lunch, and dinner), bottled water (2 liters per day), full board accommodation and enroute meals as indicated in the itinerary, one gorilla permit per person and chimpanzee permit per person to be secured and paid for well in advance, park fees and relevant government taxes, services of an expert guide, airport transfer.

Package excludes – Covid-19 test on arrival at Entebbe Airport and Covid-19 test before leaving Uganda, Personal insurance, Expenses of personal nature such as; drinks, tips, laundry, telephone, cigarettes, accommodation and meals not indicated in the itinerary.

Please note that: All African countries require a PCR test certificate with a negative result valid for 72 hours. Covid-19 tests (US $30 per person) on arrival at Entebbe Airport, please read more on this link https://caa.go.ug/mandatory-covid-19-test-on-all-travellers/ and Covid-19 test before leaving Uganda. The package does not include the fees for COVID-19 Tests. The covid-19 test fees ranges from US $100 to US $120 per person which is different from the Covid-19 test fees offered by the government of Uganda at the airport, so your Covid-19 test before the departure will be taken in a private hospital.
