This 3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari package explores the rich and diverse wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The park’s long history and diverse ecosystems make Queen Elizabeth National Park stand out among all the Ugandan wild places. In Queen, you will have game drives in the park to see many animals, as well as the 40-kilometer boat cruise to see more animals and birds along the shores of the Kazinga channel.
This tour starts from Kampala and goes to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Fort Portal. You will go through the expansive countryside dotted with homes, farms, towns, and all manner of things to make the drive very interesting.
After your exploration, you will return to Kampala where your trip will end. This short trip is great for both individuals and groups looking to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park and all its wonderful attractions
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
The tour will start with our driver/guide picking you up from your hotel/residence at 8:00 am in the morning. You will then be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda (approx. 8-9hrs).
After about 5 hours of driving, you will stop in Fort Portal town for your lunch and then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth is Uganda’s second largest park and is located base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George.
The park has prolific wildlife, including Gazelle, Uganda Kob, Warthog, and Waterbuck; Lions are often sighted both in and at the entrance to the park. Be prepared for huge numbers of Hippos and Elephants, and keep your eyes peeled for a leopard lazing in the sunshine.
Watch wildlife at the waterhole from your own private verandah and fall asleep to the roaring of lions on the distant savannah. Time permitting, you will go for a short game drive into the park.

Day 2: Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Today is the day you get to enjoy exploring the wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will wake up early and have your breakfast before heading out for your early morning game drive.
The early morning game drive is perfect for seeing many animals, as well as seeing the sunrise over the savannah with its light and warmth.
You will search for all the wildlife in the park; elephants, Buffalo, Lion, Waterbuck, Leopard, lions, Uganda Kob, Warthog, etc.
After lunch, you will take a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. Here, you will see many herds of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine!), as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe.
You can expect to see Buffalos, crocodiles, bathing elephants, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat safari, you have a game drive as you drive back to the lodge.

Day 3: Drive from Queen Elizabeth NP to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe (Airport). Of course, you will have a stop at the equator, the best place for your souvenir shopping.
Your driver/guide will bring you to your accommodation in Kampala or to Entebbe Airport (this is only possible if your flight leaves at midnight or later). In the event that you want us to include one (or more) nights in Kampala and/or Entebbe, please let us know.
