On this Uganda safari you will have a week of the most amazing and the different gems that the country has to offer. Watch the chimpanzees jump from tree to tree in Kibale, the elephants drift around in Queen Elizabeth and the gorillas in the Bwindi Forest National Park. Enjoy beautiful sailing and hiking and exciting visits to local villages and you will have a week of experiences for the rest of the year.

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN ENTEBBE

Welcome to Uganda! You land at the airport in Entebbe, a suburb of the country's capital, Kampala, in the middle of Africa, on the banks of Lake Victoria.

Here you will be met by warm temperatures, no matter what year of the year you travel, and the friendly locals who are ready to show you their country. You will be picked up by your guide, from there you are driven to your hotel and can spend the night.

DAY 2 ENTEBBE KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, head to Kibale National Park, where to stay in your first lodge and have the first animal experiences. You arrive for lunch and will then be driven to the sump area of ​​Bigodi Wetland, where you will go for a walk on wooden bridges and trails in the moist nature, where you can find an extremely diverse wildlife in the trees.

You may see abundant abortions like mare cats, baboons and long-haired colobus bears. Here are also see several bird species such as the gray African parrot, blue turaco or the perennial rhino birds. When you are lucky, you can also see the big Crowned Crane, which is Uganda's national symbol.

On the way back to the lodge you will have views of beautiful volcanic craters and tea plantations.

DAY 3 KIBALE FOREST TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at the lodge and before moving on, you will go along with your guide on trekking in Kibale National Park, where you will see the wild chimpanzees floating around in the woods of the rainforest. After this truly unique experience, as well as a light lunch in the beautiful surroundings of the forest, head to the Queen Elisabeth National Park.

Driving down the Rwenzori Mountains, Africa's highest mountain range, also called the Moon Mountains, there will be ample opportunity to get out and enjoy the spectacular views. On the way you will also visit a vanilla farm where you will see cocoa, tropical fruits and spices in addition to vanilla. You also stop at the center of the world, equator, where you can stand a foot on every hemisphere and see the monument that marks where the line goes.

You arrive at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park late afternoon, well in advance for dinner. It is one of Uganda's most popular national parks because of an overwhelming animal kingdom. Therefore you have two nights here.

DAY 4 GAME DRIVE AND BOAT TRIP QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After the morning breakfast, head in jungle on an early game drive where you look for the many wild animals. You can see calm elephants hurry across the road, cloud leopards on the nap in the trees and many other wildlife. On the way back to the lodge you stop at the Katwe Salt Crater, where you can see how they mine salted out.  After lunch, you will be on a cruise on the Kazinga channel, where you will have a look at the Democratic Republic of Congo on the other side of Lake Edward. Here you can be lucky to see hippos, crocodiles, water buffalo, elephants and hundreds of bird species that surround the lake.

These experiences can be talked about over a nice dinner in the lodge where you have the last night.

DAY 5 BWINDI FOREST NATIONAL PARK

In the morning, after a good morning meal in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will head off to Bwindi Forest National Park. Drive  to the jungle to do a morning game drive before heading to Bwindi Forest.

After an idyllic drive through one of the most spectacular volcanic landscapes, you arrive at the lodge overlooking the spectacular dense Forest for your overnight and relaxation.

DAY 6 GORILLA EXPERIENCE

The day is dedicated to the Gorillas, you get an early cup of morning coffee or tea and a warm breakfast thereafter, drive out to the park to trek the Gorillas. Under the experienced guidance of your guide, you move on foot into the part of the rain forest where the huge animals live. There are only 700-800 left of them in the world, and about half live here. Some of them are going to stand close to you - an experience we guarantee you will never forget!

DAY 7 DRIVE FROM K BWINDI TO ENTEBBE

After the morning breakfast, you will drive to Entebbe through the rolling hills on the farmlands. You have a stopover for lunch before you continue to reach Entebbe in the evening..
