Africa Cycling safari holidays let you explore Africa on two wheels, riding along spectacular trails along with cars carefully escorted with our guides through coffee plantations, mountains and local villages, with a chance to spot wildlife grazing on the plains from your saddle.

Day 1 Nairobi - Suswa Resort

Leave Nairobi at 7.30am for the Great Rift Valley through the Ngong Hills where you will start biking down the Rift Valley over a distance of 47 kilometers. The picturesque Ngong Forest plus the panoramic views of the floor of the Rift dotted by extinct volcanoes and long salty lakes are some of the most memorable sights on this unique safari. Lunch is taken en-route and we arrive at the ranch in the mid afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Suswa Ranch Resort

Day 2 Suswa Ranch Resort - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we depart Suswa Ranch Resort with our escort vehicle following behind slowly to lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge. Afternoon you will go to a boat ride in Lake Naivasha to see the wildlife and beautiful birds in Lake Naivasha coming back to the lodge for dinner and overnight meal plan breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3 cycling Safari holidays around Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, We will take our mountain bikes and start our cycling safari around the lake. The ride will take approximately 4 hours before coming back to the lodge for our lunch. After lunch, we will go to hells gate National park the park we are allowed to cycle coming back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight meal plan breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4 Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Nakuru for our morning game drive which will take four hours before breaking for lunch at golden palace hotel. After lunch we will take our mountain bikes and cycle towards Nyahururu for about 5kilometers. Our guide will lead us back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 5 Lake Nakuru - Lake Bogoria

With our Safari van behind our convoy, we will cycle towards Lake Bogoria doing about five hours cycling on a tarmac road which is less busy arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in lake Bogoria. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 Lake Bogoria - Kakamega

After breakfast, we will drive to kakamega forest with a brief stop over for lunch in Eldoret town. After lunch proceed to kakamega arriving late in the afternoon. Time permitting we will do our evening ride around the forest for about two hours. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7 Kakamega Forest - Kisumu

After breakfast, its our day to pick up our bikes and start cycling to kisumu arriving in time for lunch. After lunch its our free time to relax at the hotel or do evening stroll in the town visiting various sites like the local market and the Museum. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 8 Lake Victoria Region

Its a day to cycle around the lake. Lake Victoria, also known as Victoria Nyanza in the Bantu language, is a huge lake located in east central Africa along the equator and borders the 3 countries of: Kenya with 6% of the total area 4,100 square kilometers (1,600 square miles), Uganda with 45% of the total area, 31,000 square kilometers (12,000 square miles), and Tanzania with 49% of the total area 33,700 square kilometers (13,000 square miles)

Day 9 Lake Victoria - Kericho Tea Farm

Depart lake Victoria after breakfast and drive to Kericho tea farm arriving after three hours. We will take our early lunch after which we will take our mountain bikes and cycle around the beautiful tea farm coming back to the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel meal plan breakfast, Lunch and dinner.

Day 10 Kericho - Nairobi

After breakfast, we will drive to Nairobi arriving in the evening. Early dinner will be at carnivore restaurant before going to the airport to catch our international flight back home. Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Valid passports are required for travel to the destinations in this website. Check with your travel agent or Claudious Tours for the latest visa requirements. Please note that all travelers are responsible for obtaining the required documentation applicable for entry. Please note also that passports must be valid for six (6) months after the return of your journey and should also have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigration stamps. Claudious Tours cannot be held responsible should you be denied entry to a country due to non-compliance with these requirements. A copy of your valid passport must be submitted to Claudious Tours in order to confirm the flight reservation done by us.
